Malaria Lesson Plan

Adrianne has taught high school and college biology and has a master's degree in cancer biology.

Malaria may not be prevalent in the US, but your students should still learn about this disease. They will have an interesting learning experience as they watch a video, create malaria pamphlets and complete a worksheet.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Define malaria and identify the causative agent.
  • Describe the diagnosis, signs and symptoms, and treatments for malaria.
