Emma is an employee at your organization and has just activated her Study.com account. Let's watch her as she gets started.

Emma wants to earn college credits for a business degree, so she and her Study.com Success Coach decide she should start with Business 101: Principles of Management. She uses the search bar to find the Business 101 course. The search bar is a handy way to find courses and lessons on Study.com.

Business 101 and the other courses on Study.com consist of short video lessons that are divided into chapters. Business 101 has 120 bite-sized lessons, and they are divided into 16 short chapters. This structure allows Emma to break up her learning into chunks that fit her schedule.

Emma clicks on the first lesson to get started. She watches the video first and then decides to read the transcript to review the material. Then, she takes the short quiz. She passes the quiz and sees that she's gained progress in the course! Emma clicks to the next lesson and keeps learning.

The next time Emma logs onto Study.com she starts on her dashboard. The Recent Activity section shows her the last few lessons she watched so that she can easily jump back and review them if she wants. The My Courses section shows her progress in Business 101 and lets her click to her next lesson or quiz. If Emma starts taking additional courses she will see those listed here too.

Emma wants help staying on track with Business 101. She clicks on Study Trainer, which is a Study.com tool that allows her to set up a study schedule and receive reminders when it's time to log in. Emma plans to study three days a week at 8 pm, so she enters her plan into Study Trainer. Now she'll get an email when it's time to Study and can see when she'll finish Business 101.

Emma also has a question about a concept she learned yesterday. She clicks on 'Ask Our Experts' and types in her question. Her answer will be sent to her email account and also to her dashboard so she can refer back to it at any time.

Emma clicks on 'Next Lesson' from the My Courses section and continues with her studying.

When she completes Business 101 she receives a Certificate of Completion verifying her participation. Many students are highly motivated by the certificates and share them with their manager, coworkers, and social network.

As an admin, you'll be able to see and track how Emma and your other employees are doing. You can easily see when employees last logged into Study.com, which courses they have worked on, and how far they have progressed through their courses. This visibility will allow you to easily monitor the impact of the program.
