About This Chapter

This chapter on body systems was designed to teach elementary and middle school students about everything from the circulatory system to the immune system of the human body. Several text and video lessons are presented along with short quizzes.

Body Systems for Elementary School - Chapter Summary

The lessons in this chapter can help your child understand more about science in general and, in particular, body systems. Elementary and middle school students can learn about the functions and structures of the human body's glands, organs and numerous systems while studying the different lessons. The causes and effects of certain diseases are also explained.

Five-question quizzes are designed to determine how much pupils are learning. Students can ask questions about body systems by submitting them through the Dashboard area.
