OAE Middle Grades Math: Transformations Chapter Objectives

The OAE Middle Grades Mathematics is a computer-administered certification exam composed of 150 multiple-choice questions that test educators mastery over middle grade mathematics. On test day, you will be administered these questions in a four-hour and 15-minute testing session. Thirty-three percent of the questions on this exam belong to the domain of Algebra and Functions while another 25% belongs to the domain of Measurements and Geometry. You can expect to see some questions in both of these domains asking about mathematical transformations. Use the tools of this chapter to improve your understanding of transformations so that you will be able answer related questions in an accurate and efficient manner.
