Program Information and Requirements

It typically takes about two years to complete an associate's degree, but it can take part-time students longer. Pupils can complete courses entirely online or through a combination of online and on-campus courses. To complete an online degree program, students log into the school's web-based educational system, where they can access video lectures, lecture notes, assignments and discussion boards. They can also use the virtual library and interact with their peers to complete online projects.

The online programs require access to high-speed internet. Web designers, along with information security analysts and computer network architects, could expect a much faster-than-average 27% job growth from 2014-2024, and as of May 2015 web designers earned an average annual salary of $70,660.
