Cornell University was the first university in the U.S. to offer a hotel management program. MSU was ranked tied for 85th among national universities by U.S. News & World Report in 2015. The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University (MSU) resides within MSU's Broad College of Business, which was ranked tied for 37th among business schools in 2015 by U.S. News & World Report.
