The school offers an online program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Engineering Technology. 2. Excelsior College

Excelsior College's online HVAC technician certificate program is designed for students at all levels of experience and education; the eight available courses can be self-paced or facilitated by an instructor. Subjects include refrigerant handling and the installation, design and maintenance of HVAC systems. Students also learn about HVAC fundamentals, hazard communication, basic circuits, magnetism and transformers.
