Essential Information

In order to become a CMT, aspiring market technicians must complete training and receive certification from the Market Technicians Association (MTA). To earn the CMT designation, you must be an MTA member, pass three examinations, and receive approval from the MTA Board of Directors and Admissions Committee. In addition, candidates must have three years of relevant work experience.
