1. University of Connecticut Neag School of Education in Storrs

The American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education has listed the University of Connecticut's Neag School of Education as one of the top kinesiology schools since 2005. Students enrolled in the Athletic Training Education Program graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and have two and a half years of academic and clinical studies.

The exercise science program focuses on preparing students to look at sport and exercise in physiological terms while the Bachelor of Science in Strength and Conditioning, a part of the exercise science program, is meant for students hoping to become strength and conditioning coaches or employees in the fitness sector.

2. University of Maryland - College Park

The University of Maryland - College Park also has a highly ranked graduate doctoral kinesiology program. The undergraduate department offers a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiological Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education.
