Founded in 1957, California State University - Stanislaus (CSU-S) offers over 100 majors, minors and concentrations in a wide variety of fields. The school offers bachelor's degrees in computer science and computer information systems.

In the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program, students complete 51 units of general education requirements and take 34 units of upper division classes. Required courses include data structures, algorithms, programming languages and operating systems. Students participate in seminars on computer science.
