Entry-level jobs are positions that are considered the lowest tier position within a company or corporation, and depending on the field or company, these positions may not require any experience at all or may expect a few years of experience at most. Most entry-level jobs that offer the highest pay require at least a bachelor's degree, though there are a few high paying entry-level jobs open to those with only an associate's degree and/or the specified certification or training. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median pay of workers equals out to $859 a week (2017, second quarter) which is $44,668 annually, therefore the jobs listed were reported to earn above this estimate.

Chemical engineers are the designers and researchers of any product that involves chemical manufacturing in mass production. They are responsible for developing equipment and running tests to evaluate the quality of the product as well as figure out the cost of production, though chemical engineers will have a specialty within a particular field of chemical processes. A career as a chemical engineer will require a bachelor's degree. Though the starting salary is already quite high, the median salary of chemical engineers is around $98,000 annually according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

Financial Analyst

Financial analysts interpret the financial state of a business or potential investment in order to provide insight or better understanding to their clients or employer. They usually research any trends in the economy as it pertains to applicable areas of the business' ventures, as well as make recommendations on what business ventures and investments should be made. A bachelor's degree within the field of economics or finance is required to become a financial analyst. According to the BLS, financial analysts earned a median wage of $81,760 in 2016, which is nearly $30,000 more than the entry-level median salary.

Network and Computer Systems Administrator

Network and computer systems administrators are responsible for up-keep and repair of the communication systems within a corporation or business. They are expected to install both the hardware and applications for the networking infrastructure both locally and beyond the company's system. This position usually pays a median of $54,288 starting out, however, according to the BLS, the median pay is upwards of $79,000 for all experience levels. Network and computer systems administrators are required to have a bachelor's degree in computer science.

Website Designer

A career as a website designer or web developer entails creating the visual aesthetic of a client's website, such as layout, animations, or videos. These designers must be well-versed in various programming languages to create the desired looks and user interfaces that align with the brands. Web designers will need at least an associate's degree in the field and can start immediately upon graduation; however, due to the competitive nature of the industry, they may also be expected to have experience in graphic design. The median salary in 2016 was $66,130 for web designers according to the BLS, which is around an $12,000 wage increase from entry-level.

Real Estate Broker

Being a real estate broker entails gaining a clientele that will be interested in property, as well as providing information on the market climate, help simplify any complex mortgage information or processes, and present any properties that pique the interests or meet the needs of clients. To become a real estate broker requires a high school diploma and must take the certification courses in their state in order to be licensed and work. Real estate brokers can expect an increase in salary up to $6,000, based on median wage reports by the BLS.
