Chandler/Gilbert Community College in Chandler offers eight certificate programs and three associate's degree programs in computer technology. Each focuses on a specific aspect of the field, and they range from developing software application skills to understanding network and database systems available. Some programs are brand-specific and include companies such as Cisco, Microsoft and Oracle. Students may also learn graphic design skills or how to work as a computer help desk technician.

Cochise College

Located in Douglas, Cochise College offers eight associate's degree programs and nine certificate programs in computer-related technology that prepare students for careers and for transfer to bachelor's degree programs. The 2-year degree programs include majors in computer science, computer information systems and information security. The information security degree major helps students develop skills in network security, information security and other-related areas. The program combines hands-on application with classroom theories. In all programs, students work closely with a college advisor to develop their specific area of study.

Coconino Community College

Coconino Community College in Flagstaff offers degree and certificate programs in computer software technology and network engineering. The 2-year degree in computer software technology focuses on general technology, computer repair, software applications and graphic/web design. The associate's degree in network engineering provides students with the technical networking skills to work with small businesses computer systems. Graduates learn how to implement, maintain and oversee routers, switches and other advanced technology.

Estrella Mountain Community College

Located in Avondale, Estrella Mountain Community College offers computer-related certificates in 13 areas and computer-related associate's degrees in five majors. These programs prepare graduates for computer-related careers in information technology, business, financial services and medical services. The college offers programs and courses in Cisco networking systems, Microsoft and Red Hat operating systems and other programs. The Cisco training is offered in an associate's degree program that teaches students how to build, troubleshoot and safeguard computer networks. The college is also the only Red Hat Academy in Arizona, offering training in this Linux-based technology. Students in all programs learn to develop the skills needed to gain industry certifications, to enter the workforce and to be prepared to transfer to a bachelor's degree program.

Maricopa Skill Center

Located in Phoenix, Maricopa Skill Center offers a computer support specialist certificate designed to teach students how to help end-users with technical problems. Students learn how to support desktop computers, operating systems, mobile devices, networks, printers and popular software applications. This program provides the base skills to earn advanced technical certifications. The center requires applicants to be able to read and interpret complex technical documents in English and able to perform simple math without the assistance of a calculator.

Mohave Community College

Mohave Community College in Kingman offers five certificate programs and four degree programs in computer-related technology. Majors in the 2-year degree programs include computer information systems, network support/information security, computer graphics and web design, and systems administration. The network support and information security program focuses on network troubleshooting, computer repair, help desk support and information security. The certificate programs include a programming and game development program with courses that can be applied to an associate's degree in computer information systems.

Paradise Valley Community College

Located in Phoenix, Paradise Valley Community College offers 12 certificate programs and four associate's degree program in computer-related majors. These programs are housed within the college's Business/Information Technology Division. Students may complete successive certificates that count toward their associate's degree. The college also partners with select universities that allow students to earn their 4-year degree while still on the Paradise Valley campus.

Rio Salado College

Located in Tempe, Rio Salado College offers five certificate programs and an associate's degree program related to computer technology. These programs prepare students for employment as computer technicians, programmers, network administrators and other computer-related occupations. They provide training on various computer technologies, their use and applications. The associate's degree program helps students develop computing skills for use in personal or business use. These may include computer operating systems, graphic applications, spreadsheets, word processing and databases.

Scottsdale Community College

Scottsdale Community College offers five associate's degree programs and 11 certificate programs related to computer technology. These computer information systems degree programs provide training for entry-level jobs such as systems analysts, local area network administrators and computer operators. The certificate programs range from database and software development to web design and development. The college offers small classes with state-of-the-art classrooms. Yavapai College

Located in Prescott, Yavapai College offers six certificate programs and two associate's degree programs in computer technology.
