Fresno Adult School's Courses and Programs
The Fresno Adult School serves residents of Fresno and the Central Valley. The school provides adult high school programs, vocational training, enrichment classes and courses for older adults.
Animal Care Program
The animal care program at Fresno's Adult School offers students the opportunity to learn outdoors. A puppy and dog obedience class is offered, to help students learn how to better communicate with their dog.
Arts and Crafts Program

Central Learning Adult School's Courses and Programs
The Central Learning Adult School is also located in Fresno and offers programs to local residents. The school provides older students with opportunities to complete their high school educations, improve English language skills or enhance job prospects through vocational training.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Program

Three levels of welding courses are available preparing students for entry-level welding jobs. Level one provides an introduction to shop safety and basic skills, including shielded metal arc welding. Levels two and three build upon these skills and introduce gas metal arc and gas tungsten arc welding.
Health Care Courses
Health care options include a certified nursing assistant program, which is a six-week preparatory course for official certified nursing assistant licensing. There are also standalone anatomy and medical terminology classes.
Business courses are available for those seeking to become administrative assistants in the field. Basic, intermediate, and advanced skills will be taught for students to acclimate themselves to the duties of a professional business environment. Also, an internship is possible.
