Long Beach School for Adults' Education Programs

The Long Beach School for Adults (LBSA) is part of the Long Beach Unified School District. LBSA offers General Educational Development (GED) programs, English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, job skills courses and computer classes. Courses are offered at two campus locations.

General Educational Development Program

LBSA offers GED courses to help students prepare for the exam. The courses cover the major academic areas that are required for the exam, including math, science, social studies and reading. Students can also take the GED exam through LBSA. The exam is offered multiple times throughout the year.

English as a Second Language Courses
