Program Description:

Kaplan University's Master of Science in Nursing program with an executive leader specialization, which is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), is designed to prepare students to pursue advanced practice management and leadership positions in a variety of health care settings. Students have the opportunity to build upon previous education and clinical experience to develop theoretical knowledge in areas of health policy, ethics, health promotion and disease prevention, biostatistics, and evidence-based decision making. Students then apply this knowledge to a practicum program with the help of a mentor in a facility selected by the student. This program serves as a culminating experience to demonstrate successful understanding of degree program concepts through the submission of an evidence-based practice project proposal.
