Penn Foster Career School's Auto Repair Technician Career Diploma Program offers students the opportunity to receive hands-on training in auto repair. The program's curriculum covers electrical, fuel, exhaust, and braking systems; computerized engine controls; front and rear axles; differentials, front end alignments; transmission components; and automotive engine disassembly, repair, and rebuilding. Penn Foster provides auto repair technician students with books, including those that can be used prepare for the Automotive Service Excellence exam. Once the Auto Repair Technician Career Diploma Program has been completed and students have met their financial obligations, they can receive a socket set, fender cover, locking pliers, shoulder patches, vacuum gauge, toolbox, screwdriver bit set and magnetic handle, folding style hex key set, feeler gauge set, combination style SAE wrench set, pliers set, compression gauge, screwdriver set, tool chest, and combination style metric wrench set from the school.
