To earn the High School Diploma with an Electrical Career Pathway from Penn Foster High School, students must complete 21.5 credits. This program includes 17 instruction sets designed to teach human relations, reading skills, basic and practical English, general and consumer math, fitness and nutrition, American and world history, Earth science, civics, written communication, biology, physical science, and literature. Electrical concentration courses give students the opportunity to learn about apprentice electrician practices, electrical components, conductors, writing, lighting, heating and climate control, diagram interpretation, and the National Electrical Code. Following an official transcript review by Penn Foster High School, students might be able to transfer a maximum of 16 credits into this program.
