Program Description:

Post University Online's Associate of Science in Marketing program introduces students to the basic principles of marketing, including product development, distribution, pricing, and promotion; retail operations, including budgeting, sales, unit control, and store image; and the psychology of selling and sales strategies. Students can also study fundamental topics of management, such as motivation, leadership, organizational behavior, and strategic planning. The program also discusses business law, including tort laws, such as bodily injury, property damage, and harm to reputation; intellectual property, copyright, trademark, and patent laws; contract laws, the Uniform Commercial Code, sales contracts, workers' compensation, and employment contracts; and partnership laws, corporate laws, and bankruptcy laws. Additional coursework covers financial accounting, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics.
