Program Description:

The Associate of Applied Science in Allied Health program at Sanford-Brown is designed for students who already hold a diploma in an allied health field. In addition to general education and elective courses, students have the opportunity to learn about office skills for the healthcare environment, personnel management, risk management, financial administration, and implementing healthcare regulations. Students are also introduced to the relationship between wellness and fitness, and the impact of emotional, physical, and psychological health.

The AAS in Allied Health program is approximately 20 weeks and consists of 90 credits. Students must complete 30 general education credits and 60 core curriculum credits, up to 53 credits of which will have been completed through an allied health diploma program.
