Penn Foster Career School's Security Guard Training Program provides students with the opportunity to develop basic skills in patrolling and protecting personnel and property in order to help them prepare for entry-level work as unarmed security guards. The courses cover topics in security guard conduct, arrests and detention, investigations, and crisis intervention. The program is also designed to teach students about the American criminal and civil justice systems, conducting searches, and responding to crimes in progress and medical emergencies.
