Project Management Certificate and Degree Programs in Indiana

Indiana has three schools that offer project management certificate programs. Learn about the certificates, tuition information and program options for these three schools to make an informed education decision.

Essential Information

Indiana has a limited number of not-for-profit schools that offer a certificate program in project management. Most colleges and universities in the state that offer a project management certificate or degree program are for-profit institutions. However, there are a few public schools, such as Ivy Tech Community College, that offer standalone non-credit courses designed to prepare students to sit for the Project Management Institute's (PMI's) Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. Students should hold a bachelor's degree, at the least, before enrolling in graduate certificate programs.

Career Requirements

Project management certificate programs are sometimes designed to prepare students to sit for one of the Project Management Institute's (PMI) official certification exams. PMI certifications are globally accredited, can be transferred across national borders and are usually obtained by passing a comprehensive examination. The most common certifications pursued by certificate program graduates include the Project Management Professional (PMP) and the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

The following are more detailed profiles of the few schools in Indiana that do offer certificate programs in project management.
