Cosumnes River College
Cosumnes River College offers students the opportunity to pursue employment opportunities after graduation or continue their education at a 4-year institution. Certificate of Achievement/Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
The Certificate of Achievement and Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography have the same core requirements. Both the certificate and associate's degree programs have 60 credits of core requirements and combine academic coursework with professional experience. The curriculum includes coursework in ultrasound physics and instrumentation, abdominal scanning and pathology, small parts scanning, OB/GYN scanning, vascular scanning and sonography interpretation.
