Arizona State University is located just next to Phoenix, Arizona in Tempe. Arizona State University is a public metropolitan research university ranking #124th on the list of Top National Universities by U.S. News. In addition to the main campus in Tempe, which is one of the nation's largest institutions, ASU is also comprised of three newer campuses more specialized in their missions.

Arizona State is nationally ranked in the top 40 for several individual programs, including business, accounting, marketing, management information systems, operations management, supply chain and logistics management, and engineering.

With a large undergraduate enrollment of over 41,000, ASU is considered 'selective' in its admission process with a 92% acceptance rate. SAT test scores in the 970 to 1,220 range and grade point averages of 3.5 are typically seen among incoming freshman.

Arizona State offers bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees, as well as pre-professional degree programs. Out of over 250 undergraduate programs, the most popular majors are business, management and marketing, interdisciplinary studies, communications, education and engineering.

Since 1992, only Harvard and Yale have had more undergraduate students selected for USA Today's ranking of first team All-Academic. Research at ASU spans the spectrum of disciplines in humanities, natural and social sciences, visual and performing arts and technology.
