Boise State University is located in Boise, Idaho. The most popular undergraduate majors are accounting, business and commerce, education, psychology and criminal justice. Boise State University offers certificates and diplomas in addition to associates, bachelors, masters and doctoral level degree programs.

Boise State University is situated on 175 acres along the south bank of the Boise River and across from the downtown area of the capital city. With the highest enrollment of any institution in the state of Idaho, Boise State is best known for its arts and science programs.

Boise State awards certificates and diplomas, as well as associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees. Pre-professional programs are offered in law, dentistry, medicine, veterinary science, optometry and pharmacy. The most popular majors on campus are accounting, business and commerce, education, psychology and criminal justice.

BSU offers 201 degrees in 190 fields of study through eight schools and colleges. In spite of its large student body, 49 percent of classes have 20 students or less and the student-to-faculty ratio is 18:1. An impressive 97 percent of graduates enter the job market in a field related to their major within two years of graduation.

Students who attend BSU can participate in 210 registered student organizations. The Boise State Broncos field eight men's and 11 women's teams and compete in N.C.A.A. Division I within the Western Athletic Conference.

Students who apply to Boise State compete in a 'selective' admission process with a 90 percent acceptance rate. Students who are granted admission typically have a grade point average of 3.3 and submit ACT test scores between 19 and 24. Additionally, 71 percent of students placed in the top 50 percent of their high school graduating classes.
