Eastern New Mexico University is located in Portales, New Mexico approximately 220 miles east of Albuquerque. The most popular degrees for undergraduates are education, liberal arts, business, visual and performing arts and communications. Eastern New Mexico University offers both undergraduate and graduate level degree programs.

Eastern New Mexico University is a public institution in the city of Portales, located near the Texas-New Mexico state border. Set in a small town atmosphere, Eastern New Mexico's campus offers a close community atmosphere. This is in large part due to the university's small size and the high percentage of students living on campus.

Activities on campus are offered through more than 50 campus organizations and many other opportunities for leisure can be found in the dining, shopping and recreational destinations of Portales.

Eastern New Mexico University offers more than 60 undergraduate and graduate degree programs through five schools and colleges. Popular majors among undergrads include education, liberal arts, business, visual and performing arts and communications.

Eastern New Mexico is home to more than 3,000 undergraduate students. One of the 'less selective' schools in the nation, the university has a freshman acceptance rate of 70 percent. Incoming students carry a grade point average of 3.2 and typically have score between 800 and 1040 on the SAT and between 17 and 22 on the ACT.
