St. Cloud State University is located in St. Cloud, Minnesota approximately 70 miles northwest of Minneapolis. The most popular degrees for undergrads are business, management and marketing.

St. Cloud State University is located on the banks of the Mississippi River and is part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. It is the second-largest university in Minnesota and is nationally ranked as part of America's Best Colleges.

St. Cloud's engineering program ranks in U.S. News' top 70 best engineering programs in its category. And the institution's business education programs are also regarded among the best in the state.

In addition to a diverse student population which consists of more than 1,000 international students from 80 nations, the university maintains overseas facilities, and offers numerous study-abroad programs in 20 countries around the world.

SCSU awards certificates, as well as associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees in more than 175 academic programs through its eight colleges and schools. Roughly 25 percent of students major in business, management and marketing. Students can also take pre-professional curriculums in law, dentistry, medicine, veterinary science, optometry and pharmacy and participate in more than 200 clubs and organizations, including student government, fraternities and sororities, and intramural sports.

St. Cloud State is 'selective' in its admission process with an 85 percent acceptance rate. Typical incoming freshmen graduate in the top 50 percent of their high school classes and submit ACT test scores between 19 and 23.
