Washington State University is located in Pullman, Washington approximately 75 miles from Spokane. The most popular undergraduate majors are business, management and marketing, social sciences, communications and health sciences.

Washington State University is centered in the suburban community of Pullman located in Eastern Washington. Washington State is also considered by many to be an excellent public research university, ranking 118th on the list of Top National Universities.

Washington State has several nationally ranked programs including communications, botany and plant biology, zoology, and hospitality management. The most popular undergraduate majors for students are business, management and marketing, social sciences, communications and health sciences.

Washington State boasts an undergraduate enrollment of nearly 19,500 students and a large campus atmosphere. Washington State is a 'more selective' school accepting approximately 77 percent of freshman applicants. Students who are admitted to Washington State typically have a grade point average of 3.5 and SAT scores in the 1000-1210 range.
