Francisco Pizarro had one half-brother and three additional brothers named Juan, Hernando, and Gonzalo. His half-brother, Francisco Martin de Alcantara, and Pizarro had the same mother, Francisca Gonzalez. Pizarro went on explorations with his brothers and also became the guardian to Francisco Martin de Alcantara's children in 1537.
