Does evolution by natural selection and intelligent design have to be mutually exclusive?
Answer and Explanation:
The concepts of evolution and intelligent design do not have to be mutually exclusive. It can be argued that evolution was a product of intelligent design, and all that follows has been pre-structured and predicted by this supernatural cause. One may also argue certain evolutionary processes have been interfered by creationism. For instance, as of now we still do not have a clear understanding of the origin of Homo sapiens and how humanity is markedly more intelligent than their primate counterparts and all other life forms on Earth.
