How did Israel help India win the Kargil War?
The Kargil War (Conflict):
During the winter of 1998-1999, the Indian military retreated from their mountain outposts on the Line of Control in Kargil. With the Indians away, the Pakistanis took up positions in the mountainous region in February 1999. Indian shepherds reported these troops in early May to the Indian forces, who investigated and by the middle of May, India and Pakistan were in a heated contested border dispute. After initial successes, the Pakistanis were forced to retreat in July of 1999, primarily because of intense military pressure from India and world condemnation.
