The Cask of Amontillado:

The Cask of Amontillado was written by American novelist and poet Edgar Allan Poe. It is a Gothic short story in which the narrator describes how he killed his former friend, Fortunato. He lures Fortunato into the secluded catacombs beneath the city by promising him free wine. Once he has Fortunato alone, he chains him up inside an alcove. Then he seals the alcove with bricks.
