## Question:

Is it possible to convert magnetic energy into light energy? If yes, how?

Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction states that a moving magnetic field causes an induced electric field. To visualize it, a magnetic field going in a coil will induce an electromotive force which could be measure if the coil is connected to an electric circuit.

The concept of electromagnetic induction is already used in a variety of electronic circuits. It explains how to convert magnetic energy into electrical energy.

To convert electrical energy to light energy, we need to have an object such as a light bulb connected to a socket. The basic model uses a coil with both ends of the wire connected through the socket and a bulb is attached to it.

Using a magnet, push and pull the magnet inside the coil to induce a current which will light up the bulb. The intensity of the light produced depends on the strength of the magnet as well as the dimensions of the coil.

However, this setup is inefficient since another contraption will make the magnet go in and out on the coil.
