To convert electrical energy to light energy, we need to have an object such as a light bulb connected to a socket. The basic model uses a coil with both ends of the wire connected through the socket and a bulb is attached to it.
Using a magnet, push and pull the magnet inside the coil to induce a current which will light up the bulb. The intensity of the light produced depends on the strength of the magnet as well as the dimensions of the coil.
However, this setup is inefficient since another contraption will make the magnet go in and out on the coil.
