Job sequencing is the process which involves that in which order should jobs will be assigned with an aim to reduce the total time duration of the process. This process is done on the basis on shortest processing time of the given activities.

Explanation: The activity E has the shortest processing time from Operation1, that's why; it is assigned to 1 slot. Next, F has the shortest processing time but from operation 2, that's why; it is assigned to last slot. Similarly, D is the next activity with shortest time will be assigned to slot 2 and B with the shortest time in Operation 2 will be assigned to second last slot. At last, the between the two remaining activities, C has the shortest time. Therefore, it is assigned at slot 3 and A is then assigned at slot 4.
