What are the products of the Krebs cycle?

Question:

What are the products of the Krebs cycle?

The Krebs Cycle:

The Krebs cycle is a biochemical cycle that is essential for all aerobic organisms. For animals the Krebs cycle can only stop for brief periods of time before death occurs.

Answer and Explanation:

The Krebs cycle produces three NADH molecules, one FADH molecule, an ATP molecule and two molecules of carbon dioxide. The NADH and FADH produced by the Krebs cycle are passed on to the electron transport chain where they are used to generate more ATP.
