What is the meaning of interference?
According to the dictionary Interference means: 1. the act of interfering. 2. Interruption of a radio signal by another signal on a similar wavelength, causing extra noise that is not wanted.
Answer and Explanation:
In Physics the phenomenon of interference is nothing more than the superposition of two or more waves of the same type (for example: electromagnetic or mechanical) at a point in space at the same instant of time. However, for these waves to interact with each other the phase difference between them has to be constant. That is, they have to be spatially coherent (the distance that separates the sources that produce them must be kept constant) and temporal coherent (they must have the same frequency).
