What route did the explorer John Cabot take during his first voyage to the New World?
Giovanni Caboto, was born in Italy in about 1450 AD. He went to England in about 1490 and contracted with King Henry VII to undertake a voyage to Asia. Cabot made several voyages and died sometime between 1498-1501, although no one is sure whether he died in North America, on his way back, or in England.
