Where are most tectonic plate boundaries?

Question:

Where are most tectonic plate boundaries?

Plate Tectonics

Plate tectonics is a theory about how the plates in the lithosphere of Earth are moving and responsible for most of the earthquakes and volcanoes we experience today and have been for millions of years. The tectonic plate theory was created as a mechanism for seafloor spreading and is a new version of continental drift.

Answer and Explanation:

Most tectonic plate boundaries are on the ocean floor forming rift valleys where the crust of the Earth becomes weak. This allows lava to spring up from the Earth's core to move toward Earth's surface on the ocean floor. Lave flows out the vents and forming mountain ranges where tectonic plates are diverging.
