Who started the Cuban Revolution?

The Need for Revolution:

From 1940 until 1944, Fulgencio Batista was the president of Cuba. In 1952, he became dictator of the country and progressively took more and more rights away from the ordinary people who lived in the country. Although there were many protests against Batista's practices and way of ruling, one man emerged as the clear leader in the attempt to overthrow Batista.
