Why are timelines important in history?
History is a broad subject, which may be broken-down into types or studies, such as U.S and European History, World and Ancient History, etc. The study of history is so very important, in part, in that it explains to us where we have been, and it may, perhaps, tell us how to better proceed into our future (by avoiding the mistakes of our past).
