About This Course
The purpose of this study guide is to provide a complete overview of all topics you would encounter on the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate exam. Most lessons cover general real estate laws, practices and processes, such as agency roles, ethics, property ownership and management, leasing, real property transfer, fair housing and land use. About the Exam
The Florida Real Estate Sales Associate exam is entirely computer-based and contains 19 sections covering the real estate business and licensing, federal and state real estate laws, broker practices, real estate markets, property rights, contracts, mortgages, property taxes, and planning and zoning. There are 100 multiple-choice questions appearing on this exam; 90 questions are split evenly between general real estate practices and Florida and federal real estate laws, and 10 questions require math problem solving skills. A score of 75 must be attained in order to pass this exam.

There is also a lesson covering Florida real estate licensing requirements, continuing education requirements, agency relationship regulations, housing laws and penalties associated with agent conduct and licensing violations. To register for this exam, one must meet all age and educational requirements and send a completed application form and payment of fees to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Electronic fingerprinting must also be completed to enact a criminal background check. Upon your approval, you will be contacted by Pearson VUE to schedule your exam. You must also complete a real estate sales associate pre-licensure course and pass that course's final exam with a score of 70 prior to taking the Florida Real Estate Sales Associate exam.
