About the Exam
In the state of Georgia, the GACE School Counseling exam is used to measure the knowledge of aspiring professionals seeking certification in this field. Test I is the first of this two-part exam and covers two subareas: Foundations (80% of the exam) and Management (20%). The test is entirely computer-based and consists of 80 selected-response questions. A score of 220 must be earned to pass this GACE assessment exam.
