Preparing and Registering for the Massachusetts Real Estate Broker Exam

If you would like to prepare for the Massachusetts Real Estate Broker Exam, consider using this study guide course. To apply for the Massachusetts Real Estate Broker Exam, you must fulfill several prerequisites. You must be at least 18 years old. Additionally, you must have completed 40 hours of real estate education approved by the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. You'll also need a current salesperson license valid for Massachusetts as well as have three years of qualifying experience with a broker in Massachusetts. Additionally, you'll need to provide three references from people who know you well but who are not related to you. A $5,000 surety bond completed by an insurance agent must be included, which should have your signature as well as that of a witness. Once you meet these prerequisites, you may apply to take the exam.
