Unofficial scores for the NES Essential Academic Skills Subtest III: Mathematics are provided immediately after completing the test, and official scores are released around two weeks after the testing date. Passing scores may be different from state to state, but the national benchmark is 220. This score is derived from the 45 multiple-choice questions presented on this subtest.
