Flashcard Content Overview

Ghosts, goblins, witches, and vampires…whether you believe they are real or fake, these characters help make the celebration of Halloween fun and spooky. Mastery of Halloween vocabulary will enable you to understand words associated with Halloween and actively participate in the festivities of the day such as attending a costume party or going trick-or-treating. However, I must caution you! Do not confuse an invitation to a haunted house with an invitation to someone's home unless you like to be scared! In a haunted house, you may come face-to-face with paranormal creatures such as ghosts. Even so, you may be someone who looks forward to this particular day every year. Dressing in costumes and scaring others gives you great enjoyment. For example, you may want to host your own haunted costume party. With the understanding of these Halloween vocabulary words, you can create the right party atmosphere with appropriate decorations including jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, spider webs, and bats. However, do not forget the most important part of a successful Halloween. Candy!

The flashcards in this set will cover general Halloween vocabulary words such as witch, vampire, mummy, and trick-or-treating. Mastery of these terms will enable you to not only get into the Halloween spirit but also celebrate the spookiest day of the year!
