Math is needed to understand and navigate the real world. You may need math to count money earned from a job or take measurements to build a shelf in your home. Mathematics is the study of working with numbers for a specific use. In order to understand how to manipulate numbers and use them, you have to know certain vocabulary words. When asked to solve a math problem, for example add 2 plus 2, you need to know what the words add and plus mean. This flashcard set will include the definition to kindergarten math vocabulary words such as add, subtraction, circle, straight line, and square.
