The characters in this story are intense, decisive, and larger-than life. So large in fact that many of them aren't entirely human or mortal, including kings, queens, and even Greek Gods. King of Pylos and hero of the Trojan War. Telemachus journeys to ask him about his father's whereabouts.
Menelaus
King of Sparta and hero of the Trojan War. Offers to help Telemachus find Odysseus.
Helen
Queen of Sparta and wife of Menelaus. Offers to help Telemachus find Odysseus.
Agamemnon
Dead, former king of Mycenae and king Menelaus's brother. Odysseus talks to him in Hades.
Nausicaa
The daughter of the King and Queen of the Phaeacians. She finds Odysseus on the beach and takes a liking to him.
Alcinous
King of the Phaeacians on the island Scheria who helps Odysseus travel back to Ithaca.
Arete
Queen of the Phaeacians and wife of King Alcinous who helps Odysseus travel back to Ithaca.
