Instructor: Megan Sarkisian
After reading Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, students compose an 800-1000 word reflection that explores the author's use of literary and plot features, key scenes in the story, and character development throughout the story.

Assignment Instructions for Students

Find a copy of Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, and read it. Once you have finished, write a 800-1000 word reflection on what you have read. You should reference Shelley's use of key literary and plot features, as well as key scenes within the story, but try to specifically focus on the character development of both Dr. Frankenstein and the ''monster'' that he created. What is the strongest impression you are left with after reading this story?
