3 Branches of Government Project Ideas

Instructor: Kerry Gray

Kerry has been a teacher and an administrator for more than twenty years. She has a Master of Education degree.

The three branches of government are each assigned separate duties to maintain democratic principles and a balance of power. These projects provide creative ways for students to learn about the three branches.

Branches of Government

The United States government consists of three equal branches of power: executive, legislative, and judicial. These projects will help students in all grade levels learn about the roles, responsibilities, and job titles for each of these branches of government. In the process of multi-modal learning, students will apply their research skills and creativity to engage with the subject.
