In this lesson, we will examine some of the vocabulary terms that students need to understand to be successful in English Language Arts in the eighth grade.

Eighth Grade ELA

By the time a student reaches eighth grade, the student has had some exposure to various types of figurative language in different texts that they can draw on to improve their own writing. In this lesson, we will define and look at examples of some literary and grammatical terms that will help students better understand the decisions that authors make.
