9th Grade Narrative Essay: Homeschool Assignment

This assignment asks students to brainstorm three possible topics for a narrative essay, showing their work in a map, list, or other pre-writing tool. Then, students choose one of the topics as the basis for a complete essay.

Assignment Instructions for Students

Choose 3 possible topics for a narrative essay. Then, for each of the 3 topics, brainstorm through mapping or listing what you would include in your essay. Write one introductory paragraph for each topic, then choose one to complete in full. The full essay should be 400-500 words long
